  • 1 long french bread loaf
  • 4 oz. encased chicken sausage, sliced
  • 1 C. shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 Tbs. butter, melted
  • 4 medium eggs, beat
  • 1 medium plum tomato
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • ½ medium jalapeno, finely diced
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder

In a skillet cook the chicken sausage on medium-high until they’re cooked all the way through. Whisk the milk, egg, and seasonings together. Add in the jalapeno, tomatoes, and green onion. Cut a long rectangle in the loaf of bread and hollow that part out. Brush the inside and outside of the loaf with the butter. Pour the egg mixture into the loaf of bread and then toss in the chicken. Top it with the cheese and bake on 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until the egg is cooked thoroughly.
