Ingredients

  • one 8-in. pie crust, unbaked
  • 1/2 C. pecans, chopped
  • 3 Tbs. bourbon
  • 1/4 C. butter
  • 1 C. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 C. maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 C. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Soak pecans in bourbon.  Beat sugar, butter, and eggs until fluffy.  Blend sugar mixture with syrup, vanilla, and salt.  Add chocolate chips.  Pour into pastry shell.  Sprinkle pecans on top.  Bake 45-55 minutes.


Serve with: Hot Spiced Tea
