  • 1 ½ lbs. ground beef
  • 1 ½ lbs. ground pork
  • 2 cups dried bread crumbs or old fashioned oatmeal
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1 tsp. dried tarragon
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • ½ cup barbecue sauce
  • ½ cup ketchup

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix barbecue sauce and ketchup. Mix all ingredients except for ¼ cup of the barbecue mixture. Shape the meat into a loaf.

Bake your loaf or animal for 45 minutes, or until it is cooked through. The temperature of the inner part of the meat will read 160 degrees when thoroughly cooked. Top off the loaf with the remainder of barbecue mixture. Serve hot.
