Begin by separating the dough into 4 rectangles.  Then firmly press perforations to seal.  Layer 2 rectangles on top of one another.  Fold in half (widthwise) to make a tall stack.  Repeat this process.  Next, to make the doughnuts cut a small hole in the center of the doughnut. You can use the dough that you cut out to make an additional doughnut. Fry only until underside is golden brown, then turn and brown on other side. Lift doughnuts out with slotted spoon or in a wire basket. Drain on paper toweling. Put granulated sugar, sugar or cinnamon and sugar into a paper bag, place doughnuts in while warm and shake to coat.
