Ingredients

  • Dough:
  • 2 ¾ C. flour
  • ¼ C. sugar
  • 1/3 C. milk
  • ¼ C. water
  • 2 ¼ tsp. instant yeast
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 4 T. butter
  • 2 eggs
  • Filling:
  • ½ tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 4 T. butter
  • 1 C. sugar

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. For the dough, combine all of the ingredients into an electric mixer. Refrigerate it overnight. Meanwhile, get together the filling ingredients. Melt the butter and add the remaining filling ingredients into it. Mix well. Roll out the dough. Spread the filling mixture over the dough. Cut the dough into 6 slices and stack them. Cut the stack 6 more times and stack them. Cut into 6 more slices. Stack the slices into a greased loaf pan. Bake for 45 minutes. Enjoy!
