  • 1 angel food cake, cubed
  • 4 C. strawberries, sliced
  • 2 C. heavy cream, whipped
  • 2 Tbs. powdered sugar
  • 1 C. cold milk
  • 1 C. sour cream
  • 1 package vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 tsp. lime zest

Mix the pudding mix and cold milk
Blend in the sour cream and lime zest
Fold the powdered sugar into the whipped cream to sweeten
In a trifle dish or large bowl, place half the cake cubes and spread the pudding mixture over it
Arrange half the strawberries on top and then top with half the whipped cream
Repeat the layers, reserving a few slices of strawberries for the very top of the trifle as a garnish
Chill the trifle for 4 hours or overnight before serving
