  • I wish the ingredient list was complete. I watched the video and she had more ingredients than what is listed. This kinda makes me leery of the other recipes.

  • I have been making these cookies for years. I was given this recipe from my grandmother and I am now 66 years old. I can't seem to make one batch so I double the batch, use crunchy peanut butter and now I am trying Splendra sugar. It made them light and fluffy but still very good. I usually freeze some for safe keeping. Good luck to the rest of you. Happy eating!

  • Just great! Best and easiest recipe ever. I tried it and loved them.....shared with famiy & friends. I make them at least 3 to 4 times a month. I've also added chocolate chips with crunchy peanut butter and they turned out great.

  • My kids love these cookies. Sometimes I'll use Splenda for baking and they turn out fine. I also make them when my sister-in-law visits. She can't have egg, wheat, dairy or soy. I subsitute flax for the egg (1 Tbs. flax mixed with 3 Tbs. water allow to thicken before adding to dry ingredients), to prevent spreading I add cocoa to the sugar and roll in powdered sugar before baking. I'm sure they can be baked without the powdered sugar but it makes them taste really good. I also use natural peanut butter.

  • I've been making these cookies for 40 years. Everyone loves them. People can't believe the recipe is 1,1 and 1. 1 egg, 1 cup peanut butter and 1 cup sugar. I use crunchy peanut butter for the added texture.

Paula Deen even showed them on her show, but used Splenda instead.

  • I have made these for 23 years for my kids and we all love them. I also use my thumbprint and add a bit of sugarfree preserves or jelly in the center. You wont have a single cookie left on the plate. They are delicious. I will try with the Splenda.

  • Wonder how these would work as a low-carb cookie using Splenda instead of sugar? Think I'm going to try it -- If they don't turn into cookies, it would still be something to spinkle on low-carb ice cream!
