Super Easy Salsa

You can have this salsa done in 10 minutes. Chill for 30 minutes and it is ready to serve. The heat depends on how you like it. Just add more jalapenos to adjust to your own tastes.

Ingredients

  • 1 28-oz. can whole peeled tomatoes
  • 1 8-oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1 4-oz. can diced green chilies
  • 1 Tbs. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2-6 jalapenos, seeds removed, cut in chunks (add more if you like it really hot)
  • 1 bunch green onions, sliced, use some tops too
  • 1/2 C. diced celery (optional)

Directions

Place first 6 ingredients in blender and pulse until blended, but still a little chunky. Pour into 2 quart container and stir in sliced green onions and celery. Chill for 30 minutes or more. Serve with chips or with your favorite Mexican dish.
