Swedish Meat Burgers
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 lb. ground pork
- 1 C. soft bread crumbs
- 1/2 C. sour cream
- 1/2 C. onion - finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 8 hamburger buns, split and toasted
- 1/2 C. sour cream
- 1/2 tsp. onion salt
- Shredded lettuce
Directions
Combine ground beef, pork, bread crumbs, first 1/2 C. sour cream, onion, egg, salt, and dry mustard; mix well. Shape into 8 patties. Brown slowly in a large skillet. Cover and cook over low heat for 15 minutes. Place on toasted buns. Combine sour cream and onion salt. Spread atop the burgers. Garnish with shredded lettuce
