This Swedish meatball recipe is the best! It uses bread crumbs, nutmeg and even Greek yogurt!

4 - 6 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. ground beef and pork
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 C. bread crumbs
  • 4 Tbs. tomato paste
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. thyme
  • dash of nutmeg
  • ½ C. beef bouillon
  • 1 C. Voskos Greek Yogurt (plain)
  • dill, to garnish.

Directions

Slightly beat the eggs, then mix with the ground beef and pork, onion, breadcrumbs, tomato paste, salt, thyme, and nutmeg.

Form into tiny meatballs about 1 inch in diameter.

Cover with the bouillon and wither bake at 350°F about 20 minutes, or put in a slow-cooking pot for several hours or follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

When ready to serve, stir in the yogurt and sprinkle lightly with dill.
