Hot sausage and sweet pineapple come together to make an appetizer to remember!

  • 1 lb. cooked Polish sausage links, skinned
  • 1 lb. hot bulk sausage
  • 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 C. apricot preserves
  • 1 Tbs. white wine
  • 1 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 C. packed brown sugar

Slice link sausage into 1/2-inch pieces. Shape bulk sausage into 1-inch balls and brown in skillet.  In crockpot, place sausage pieces, sausage balls, pineapple, preserves, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar.  Stir gently so meatballs do not break tip.  Cover and cook on low for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
