  • 6 granny smith apples
  • 6 craft sticks
  • 1 14-oz. bag individually wrapped caramels, unwrapped
  • 2 T. water
  • 1/2 C. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 C. pretzels, chopped
  • 1 C. roasted peanuts, chopped

Lightly grease a large baking sheet. Remove each stem from the apples and replace with a craft stick. In a small bowl, combine pretzels and nuts. Pour caramels into a large microwavable bowl and add water. Microwave for one minute, remove, and stir. Repeat until caramel is melted. Dip each apple in caramel and coat with pretzel mixture. Transfer apples to the prepared baking sheet and refrigerate for 10 minutes. In a small microwavable bowl, add the chocolate chips. Microwave in 30-second intervals until melted, stirring after each. Remove apples from fridge and drizzle with melted chocolate. Return to fridge until ready to serve.
