Sweet and Simple Strawberry Sorbet
Serving Size / Yield
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups water
- 4 pints strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1/4 cups fresh lime juice
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
Bring the sugar and water to a boil. Reduce the heat and allow to simmer until the sugar is dissolved, about three minutes. Puree the strawberries and lime juice in a blender. Press through a strainer to remove the seeds. When the sugar syrup is completely cool add it to the puree. Add the corn syrup and stir well. Pour the liquid into a ice cream maker and follow instructions.
