Sweet and Sour Chicken

Couldn't be easier, but makes a lot of food to feed hungry mouths.

Ingredients

  • 4-8 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
  • 1 egg beaten
  • cornstarch
  • Oil
  • Sauce:
  • 3/4 C. sugar
  • 4 Tbs. catsup
  • 1/2 C. vinegar
  • 1 Tbs. soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Directions

Dip the chicken breasts into the egg, then roll them in the cornstarch. In a small amount of oil, fry the chicken until just browned. Place the chicken in a shallow baking pan, pour the sauce over it, then bake it uncovered at 325 degrees for 1 hour, turning the chicken every 15 minutes.

To make sauce, mix all ingredients together.
