Sweet and Sour Lamb Chops
Ingredients
- 4 shoulder lamb chops, about 1-inch thick
- 1/4 C. vinegar
- 1/4 C. brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. ginger
- 1 med. orange, sliced
- 1 med. lemon, cut in wedges
Directions
Cook four shoulder lamb chops over low heat until browned on both sides. Combine 1/4 C. vinegar, brown sugar, salt, pepper and ginger. Mix well. Pour sugar mixture over chops. Add orange, which has sliced, and one medium sized lemon, which has been cut in wedges. Cover and cook over low heat about 30 minutes or until chops are tender.
