Sweet and Sour Red Cabbage

Ingredients
- 1 medium head red cabbage, shredded
- 4 slices bacon
- Dressing:
- bacon drippings
- 1/2 C. brown sugar
- 3-4 Tbs. flour
- 1/2 C. vinegar
- 1/2 C. water
Directions
Cover and simmer cabbage for 35-40 minutes until tender. Fry bacon until crisp. Drain and crumble. Add sugar, flour, vinegar, and water to bacon drippings. Stir to blend. Cook until thickened. Pour sauce over cooked cabbage.
