Ingredients

  • 2 cups cranberry sauce
  • 2 cups oats
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup butter (2 sticks) melted
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs beaten

Directions

In a large mixing bowl, combine, brown sugar, baking powder, oats, flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix well being sure to break up any clumps in mixture. Throw in beaten eggs and melted butter into the bowl. Mix well until the eggs and butter are mixed well.
Lightly grease a 2 quart baking dish and spread about 2/3 of the mixture along the bottom of the baking dish, being sure to press down flatten the mixture. Then, spread cranberry sauce as the middle layer of the bars. Lastly, spread the remaining 1/3 of the mixture as the top layer.
Lastly, bake at 350F for 30 minutes. Finally, remove from oven, let cool for 10 minutes and cut into bars.
