Sweet Chili Buffalo Wings Copycat

- 2 lbs. chicken wings
- 1/4 C olive oil
- 3 Tbs. soy sauce
- 2 1/2 Tbs. minced garlic
- 3/4 C sugar
- 1/2 C water
- 1 Tbs. chili-garlic sauce
Cut each chicken wing in half at joint.
Mix oil, soy sauce and 2 tablespoons garlic in a bowl. Add chicken wings and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Bake wings until cooked through and golden brown, about 20 minutes.
Combine sugar, water, chili-garlic sauce and remaining 1/2 tablespoon garlic in a saucepan. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer until glaze mixture thickens to syrup consistency, about 20 minutes.
Transfer baked chicken wings to large bowl. Pour glaze over and toss to coat. Serve warm.
