  • Cake:
  • 1 egg
  • ½ box chocolate cake mix
  • ½ C. water
  • ½ tsp. almond extract
  • 3 T. butter, softened
  • Filling:
  • 2 T. butter, softened
  • 2/3 C. whipping cream
  • 8 oz. white chocolate baking bars, chopped
  • Topping:
  • 2 C. fresh fruit of your choice
  • Powdered sugar

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a round cake pan with baking spray. In a bowl, mix the egg, cake mix, water, almond extract and softened butter. Pour into the prepared cake pan. Bake for 25 minutes. Meanwhile, whip the filling ingredients together until it is fluffy. Remove the cake from the oven and cut it horizontally in half. Place one half on a cake plate; spread half of the filling on top of the cake. Place the other half of the cake on top. Spread the remaining filling mixture over the top. Top the cake with the topping ingredients. Enjoy!
