  • 2 quarts popped popcorn
  • ¾ C. sugar
  • ¼ C. corn syrup
  • ¼ C. cocoa powder
  • ½ C. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 250 degrees F and coat a baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Make sure that the baking dish has sides. Place popcorn in a large serving bowl and set aside.

In a small saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, cocoa powder and butter over medium-high heat. Bring mixture to a boil. Cook for 2 minutes. Stir in vanilla extract. Pour mixture over popcorn and stir to coat. Transfer popcorn to prepared baking dish.

Bake for 30 minutes, making sure to stir throughout cook time. Allow popcorn to cool before serving.
