  • 5 Tbs. margarine
  • 1/2 C. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 C. boiling water
  • 1 (1/4 ounce) package active dry yeast
  • 1/4 C. lukewarm water
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 3 C. flour, plus
  • 2 Tbs. flour

Blend the margarine, sugar, salt, and water and allow to cool. In a small container, dissolve the yeast into 1/4 C. lukewarm water. Add the yeast to the first mixture once the margarine and sugar mix has cooled. Add in the beaten egg and flour and blend until sticky. Place the mix into the fridge for 24 hours.

After 24 hours, divide the dough into 3 sections of 8 rods. Cut into triangles and roll the large end to a pointed end. Place on a cookie sheet for 3 hours and allow to rise. Bake for 12-15 minutes at 350 degrees.
