  • 2 ¼ C. flour
  • 1/3 C. sugar
  • 1/3 C. dried apricots, diced
  • 1/3 C. candied orange peels
  • 2/3 C. raisins
  • 2½ tsp. active dry yeast
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ C. warm milk
  • ¼ C. butter, softened
  • 3 large eggs, room temperature

Grease a cake pan with cooking spray. In an electric mixer, mix together ¾ C. flour, sugar, yeast and salt. Add in the milk, butter, eggs, ½ C. flour and stir. Add in the remaining flour until it is thick. Cover the bowl and let it sit. Stir the raisins, apricots and candied orange peels together. Combine both mixtures. Let it bake for 1½ hour. Before you serve, let it cool and sprinkle powdered sugar over the top.
