Sweet & Sour Meatloaf

A few unexpected ingredients make for a truly delicious meatloaf.

Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. ground beef
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
2 - 3 Tbs. onion soup mix
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 1/2 C. oatmeal
Topping Ingredients:
1 (8 oz.) can tomato soup
2 Tbs. brown sugar
1 C. sugar
2 tsp. prepared mustard
2 Tbs. white vinegar

Directions

Mix the ground beef, eggs, tomato sauce, oatmeal, salt, pepper, and the onion soup mix. In a casserole dish, bake at 350 for 50 minutes. For topping, mix ingredients together well. Bring to a boil in a saucepan. Pour over the baked meatloaf and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
