Sweet-sour Meatloaf
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. soft bread crumbs
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 can tomato sauce
Directions
Combine and mix all ingredients; shape into loaf. Place in shallow pan. Place in 350 degrees oven while preparing sauce.
Sweet - Sour Sauce:
1/2 can tomato sauce
1 C. water
2 Tbs. vinegar
2 Tbs. mustard
2 Tbs. brown sugar
Combine all sauce ingredients and pour over meatloaf. Bake until done, basting occasionally.
Yield: 6 servings.
