Sweet Strawberry Jam
Serving Size / Yield
- 3 pints ripe strawberries with their stems removed
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 packet of fruit pectin, preferably from Sure-Jell brand
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
Wash and cut the strawberries in half and blend in a food processor. Pour three cups of the blended strawberry mixture into a pan and add in the water and pectin. Bring the mixture to a boil while stirring continuously, remove from heat and add the sweetener. Use a metal spoon to skim off the foam on top and allow to sit for 5 minutes before ladling them into clean glass jars.
