Swiss Oats (Cold Oatmeal)
- 1 C. old fashioned oats
- 1 C. + 2 Tbs. reduced fat milk
- 2 Tbs. honey
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon (or more to taste)
- Add ins: blueberries, bananas, Craisins, almond slivers, walnuts [or any healthy items you like]
In a plastic container (with a lid), combine oats, milk, honey and cinnamon. Mix well and cover. Place in refrigerator at least 8 hours or overnight. Serve with any of the ‘add ins' (mix and match). If you want to take to work for lunch, place add ins in a separate container until ready to eat.
