This taco pizza recipe that I came up with gets rave reviews from everyone. Tastes better than any restaurant pizza and is easy to make. Great way to use leftover taco meat. My family can't get enough.

Ingredients

  • 1 pizza crust (I use Jiffy)
  • 1 can Ro-tel or canned salsa
  • 1 C. leftover taco meat
  • 1 C. shredded colby or cheddar cheese
  • 1 C. shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 C. diced tomatoe
  • Hot sauce to taste (optional)

Directions

Prepare pizza crust as directed on box. If you like a thin crust, roll out with rolling pin on floured surface. Cook Ro-tel in saucepan until it is a paste. Spread paste on crust. Sprinkle taco meat on top. Bake at 425 degree oven for 10 minutes or until crust is brown. Sprinke cheese, lettuce, and tomato on top. Dash hot sauce on top, if desired.
