Taco Quiche
Ingredients
- 1 C. whipping cream
- 8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 unbaked 9-in deep dish pie shell
- 1 whole egg
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 pkg. dry taco seasoning mix
Directions
Preheat oven to 375. Combine whipping cream, egg yolks & whole egg in bowl; mix well with wire whisk. Set aside. Brown ground beef in skillet, stirring until crumbly. Drain. Add taco-seasoning mix and half the cheese to browned ground beef; mix well. Spoon into pie shell. Pour cream mixture on top. Bake for 40 minutes. Remove from oven; top with remaining cheese. Bake for 15 minutes longer or until cheese melts. Cool 5 minutes before serving.
Yield: 4-6 servings
