Taco Soup

This taco soup recipe is quick, easy, economical to prepare and can be simmered in the crock pot or cooked on the stove. I use my crock pot most of the time.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground meat, cooked and drained
  • 1 can rotel tomatoes
  • 1 can whole kernel corn, undrained
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cans chili beans
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
  • shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, tortilla chips (optional)

Directions

Brown meat, drain. Add next 5 ingredients. Simmer until warm, or in crock pot on low for 4-6 hours. If using stove top, simmer on medium low and heat until warm, about 20 minutes. Top with shredded cheese, sour cream, and/or tortillas. Serve warm.
