Tagalong Tartlets

You want the peanut buttery goodness of a Tagalong, but the grown up sophistication of another dessert. We've transformed the loveley tagalong into a tartlet. We kept all of the original Girl Scout ingredients and love but changed it into a form perfect for a cocktail party.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line your baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large bowl, combine milk, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, and 2 sticks of butter. Sift in the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder and mix with a hand mixer until well combined.

Roll the dough into 1 inch balls and flatten onto the parchment paper to be about 1/2 inch thick. Press down the middle of each cookie to be about 1/4 inch thick. Bake for 10-12 minutes.

While the cookies are baking, microwave the chocolate and peanut butter in 10 second increments until the chocolate is all melted. Whisk it together and add in the other 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Sift in the powdered sugar and stir until combined.

Allow the cookies to completely cool. Spoon about 1/2 tablespoon of the peanut butter mixture into the hole of each cookie. Sprinkle the chopped peanuts on top and enjoy!
