Tamale Subs

Ingredients
- 3 submarine sandwich buns
- 1/4 C. chopped green chilies
- 1 Tbs. instant minced onion
- one 15-oz. can chili with beans
- one 14 1/2-oz. can tamales
- 3/4 C. shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
Slice buns in half lengthwise and toast. Stir green chilies and onion into chili; spread buns with mixture. Remove tamale wrappers, split tamales lengthwise, and arrange atop chili. Sprinkle with cheese. Place under broiler for 10 minutes or until cheese melts and sandwiches are heated through. Serve open-face style.
