Ingredients

  • ½ package center-cut bacon, chopped
  • ½ red onion, diced
  • 2 (55 oz.) cans baked beans
  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • ½ C. brown sugar
  • 1/3 C. ketchup
  • 1 tsp. dried rosemary

Directions

In a large skillet, cook bacon until firm (just before crispy). Transfer bacon pieces to a plate with a paper towel to drain. Sauté onion in bacon grease until tender and translucent. In a large bowl, combine beans, pineapple, bacon, onions, and rosemary. In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar and ketchup. Once combined, add to bean mixture. Transfer into a greased baking dish and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
