Preheat oven to 350 degrees. At the bottom of your cake pan, combine ½ stick melted butter and brown sugar. Add in cherries, pour cake mix on top of cherries, and drizzle on remaining melted butter. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes until fluffy and golden.
