Teeny's Mexican Casserole
Ingredients
- l lb. ground turkey or meat
- l 12-count pkg. corn tortillas
- l can cream of mushroom soup or celery soup
- 2-3 C. shredded cheddar cheese
- l can chopped green chilies
- onions to taste
- salt and pepper to taste
- Mrs. Dash to taste
- cumin to taste
- 1/4 C. milk
Directions
Brown ground beef or turkey in frying pan. Add the spices, onions, and chilies. Meanwhile in a large bowl, add the soup, and tear up corn tortillas in small pieces. Add 1-2 cups of cheese as you please. Then add the meat mixture to the tortilla mixture and stir very well. Add the milk in as well and mix again. Pour into a 9x13-inch greased baking pan, top with the rest of the cheese, and bake in moderate oven at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
