Tender Roast Beef Sandwiches

- 4 lb. bottom round beef roast
- 1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. onion soup mix
- 1 (19 oz.) can French onion soup, not condensed
- 1 (12 oz.) can beer
- 3 beef bouillon cubes
- 1/-1/2 tsp. pepper
- 10 kaiser rolls
Put the roast into a crockpot. Sprinkle the roast with the soup mix and then pour the onion soup and beer over it. Drop the bouillon cubes into different parts of the crockpot and season with salt and pepper. Cover and cook on high for 4 to 5 hours.
Remove the meat and shred. Return to the crockpot and cover. Turn the heat to low and let it sit until ready to serve. Serve it on an open faced roll piled high with sandwich toppings.
