  • 1 can light beer
  • 1 (4 lb.) chicken
  • 2 T. brown sugar
  • 1 T. salt
  • 3 tsp. sweet paprika
  • 2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp. black pepper

In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, salt, paprika, cayenne, and pepper. Rub chicken with seasoning. Pour out ¼ to ½ of beer from the can and place cavity of the chicken over can. Place a foil drip pan over your grill and set chicken upright, beer still inserted, in drip pan. Cover chicken and grill over indirect heat for an hour until cooked through.
