Ingredients

  • 1 (6 lb.) turkey breast
  • ½ stick butter
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ C. flour
  • 2 ½ C. chicken broth
  • ½ C. water
  • 1 tsp. thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

In a skillet, melt butter and sauté onion and garlic until softened (about 8 to 10 minutes). Whisk in flour, cook for a couple of minutes, and whisk in broth until mixture begins to thicken. Add in water and heat for a few more minutes. Place turkey breast in crockpot, season generously with salt, pepper, and thyme. Pour in gravy, cover, and cook on low for 6 hours. Remove turkey breast from crockpot, carve, and serve with gravy.
