Thai Dumpling Soup

This Thai soup is both delicious and healthy.

Ingredients

  • one 16-oz. bag frozen Thai shrimp gyoza
  • 4 C. chicken broth
  • 1 tsp. soy sauce
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 3 C. refrigerated stir fry vegetables
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. toasted sesame oil
  • black pepper, to taste

Directions

Heat broth, soy sauce, and garlic over a medium-high heat in a pan.  Bring mixture to a boil, then add gyoza and vegetables.  When mixture boils again, reduce heat to medium-low and cook for 5 minutes. 


Beat egg with a fork until frothey, then slowly pour it into the soup in a stream, creating a ribbon of cooked egg.


Remove mixture from heat, stir in sesame oil, and season with black pepper.
