  • 1/2 C. butter
  • 1/3 C. flour
  • 3 C. milk
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. steak sauce
  • 6-7 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 C. shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 C. shredded cheddar cheese

Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease the inside of a casserole dish. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter. Whisk in flour and cook over low heat until golden, stirring constantly. Stir in milk, mustard, salt, pepper, and steak sauce. Continue stirring until thickened. Begin to layer the potato slices into your prepared casserole dish, adding layers of mozzarella in between. Cover potatoes with saucepan mixture and sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Bake for 40 minutes. Let stand for five minutes before serving.
