  • Meatloaf
  • 1 Pound of Ground Turkey
  • ½ Cup of Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 Chopped Garlic Cloves
  • ¼ Cup of Soy Sauce
  • ½ Cup of Chopped White Onion
  • ½ Cup of Chopped Green Onion
  • ½ Cup of Chopped Water Chestnuts
  • 1 Pinch of Salt
  • 1 Pinch of Pepper
  • Glaze
  • ½ Cup of Barbecue Sauce
  • ½ Cup of Ketchup
  • 1 Teaspoon of Ground Ginger
  • 1 Tablespoon of Brown Sugar
  • ½ Cup of Chopped Green Onion

While you preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, combine the ingredients for the meatloaf -- the turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, soy sauce, white onion, green onion, water chestnuts, salt, and pepper -- into a large mixing bowl. Put your gloves on, because the best method of combining these ingredients is with your hands! Once everything is evenly combined, place the mixture into a loaf pan.

For the glaze, mix together the barbecue sauce, ketchup, ginger, and brown sugar in a small bowl and pour it over the top of the loaf. It may be helpful to use a brush to evenly spread the glaze over the top! Then, bake the loaf for 50 minutes and use the remaining chopped green onion as a garnish.
