I think this one deserves the title of THE before it, because it really is one of the end-all, be-all sandwiches ever. If I didn't have any regard for my health, I'd totally eat these every day.

  • 4 English muffins
  • 1/2 C. Nutella
  • 1/2 C. peanut butter
  • 1/4 C. strawberry preserves
  • 2 bananas, sliced thinly
  • 1/4 C. butter

Spread butter on the outsides of the English muffins. Spread 2 Tbs. peanut butter inside the top half of each sandwich and 2 Tbs. Nutella inside the bottom half of each sandwich. 

Place a thin layer of sliced bananas on top of the Nutella and a thin layer of preserves on top of the peanut butter. 

Use a panini press or a cast iron skillet (with a foil-wrapped brick on top of each sandwich) to flatten and brown the top and bottom. Should take about 5-6 minutes, but keep your eyes on the sandwiches. 

Slice in half and serve with a glass of milk.
