Enjoy a new twist on spaghetti with this easy recipe. All the different types of peppers used give this pasta a decadent taste that you won’t soon forget. Don’t forget the sour cream to top it all off.

  • 1 Tbs. olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1/2 C mild banana pepper rings
  • 1 jar pasta sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 box thin spaghetti
  • Sour cream, optional

Thinly slice green and red bell peppers and set aside.

Bring a large pot of water to boil for the pasta. Follow instructions on box. Drain water once ready.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add peppers and minced garlic and sauté for five to seven minutes, or until the peppers begin to soften. Add the pasta sauce, basil, and oregano to the peppers. Stir to combine and allow the sauce to heat up.

Add the pasta sauce and peppers to spaghetti noodles. Stir until everything is evenly combined and coated in sauce. Serve warm with optional sour cream on top. Garnish with basil.
