These little tiramisu cake squares give you the same great taste but in a bite-size form. The ingredients have been simplified a little, so you won't have to spend a fortune to make this sweet treat. It's the perfect after-lunch or dinner snack.

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 C sugar
  • 3/4 C olive oil
  • 1 C whole milk
  • 3 Tbs. cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla powder
  • 2 C all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • 1 C coffee
  • 1 Tbs. sugar
  • 3 Tbs. cognac
  • Chocolate syrup, for drizzle
  • Chocolate candies, for topping

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x9 baking pan with nonstick cooking spray and line with parchment paper.

Beat the eggs and sugar in a bowl until creamy. Pour in olive oil and milk and mix. Sift cocoa powder into the bowl and mix with a spatula.

In another bowl, combine flour, vanilla powder and baking powder. Add into the egg mixture. Stir well.

Pour the batter into the baking pan and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for to room temperature. Cut the cake in squares and then cut each square in half.

Mix coffee, sugar and cognac in a cup and wet the squares using half of the syrup.

Drizzle each square with chocolate syrup and top with chocolate candies. Serve.
