  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 teaspoons cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ cup sifted powdered sugar
  • 8 ounces mascarpone cheese
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon espresso powder

Stir the heavy cream with the espresso powder until the powder is dissolved. In a separate bowl, use the electronic mixer to beat the cream cheese. Add the mascarpone cheese and beat until the cheese mixture is smooth. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla. Lower the speed of the mixer to low and continue to beat the mixture. Add the cream and espresso mix. Increase the speed to high again and beat so peaks form. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and sprinkle with cocoa powder for a finishing touch.
