Use tortilla chips instead of taco shells for this salty twist on a taco salad! If you’re looking for even more of a kick, try using chips with some flavor, like chili or lime!

  • 1 bag tortilla chips
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • ¾ cup water
  • 8 cups shredded lettuce
  • 2/3 cup sour cream
  • 2/3 cup salsa
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 8 ounces shredded cheese
  • 1 can black beans
  • ½ cup sliced black olives

Cook the beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned.
Stir in the taco seasoning and water, stirring occasionally.
In a bowl, combine the salsa and sour cream.
Combine the tortilla chips, lettuce, onion, tomato, black beans, black olives, and beef in a large bowl. Drizzle the salsa over the top.
Top with shredded cheese and enjoy!
