Serving Size / Yield
- 2 cups black coffee, strong
- ½ cup Marsala
- 3 eggs, separated
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup mascarpone
- 3/4 C. cream cheese, softened
- 1 C. heavy cream, thickened and whipped lightly
- 1 large packet lady fingers
In a small bowl, add coffee and Marsala.
In a separate bowl, mix eggs yolks and sugar. Whisk with electric blender until its pale
Pour the mascarpone, cream cheese, and cream into the yolks. Mix gently until thickened.
Whisk the egg whites in a small bowl till a thick foam appears. Add to the egg yolk mixture and fold gently.
In coffee mixture, put several biscuits to cover the base of the dish. Top with 1/3 of mascarpone mixture. Repeat for two layers with the cream as the top layer and refrigerate for 2 ½ hours
