Traditional Cherry Cranberry Pie

- 1 piecrust
- 4 ½ C. fresh red cherries
- 1 C. fresh cranberries
- 1 ¼ C. sugar
- ¼ tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/3 C. cornstarch
- Milk
- Sugar
- Dash of ground cloves

In a large bowl mix the sugar, cornstarch, nutmeg, cloves, cherries, and cranberries. Toss the mixture until all of the cherries and cranberries are coated. Let the mixture sit for 15 minutes. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Line the pie plate with the piecrust. Trim the piecrust if needed and design the remaining trimming by pressing a fork down. Brush the trimming of the pie with milk and sprinkle any additional sugar. Fill up the pie plate with the cherry and cranberry mixture. Place the pie into the oven for 40-50 minutes and enjoy!
