Turkey and Pineapple Burger
Serving Size / Yield
- 4 lbs ground turkey
- 1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 3/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 8 to 10 hamburger buns
- 2 thinly sliced tomatoes.
- 1 onion, chopped into rings.
- 8 lightly grilled pineapple slices
Form and press ground turkey into hamburger patties.
Preheat charcoal or a stove-top grill to medium-high temperature.
Cook the hamburgers for 4 minutes on 1 side, then turn and cook for 4 minutes or until well-done. Remove to a plate and cover with aluminum foil, letting the burgers cool for 5 minutes.
Serve on buns and top with freshly sliced salad, onions, and pineapple slices grilled on a lightly oiled skillet for 3 minutes on each side.. Serve.
