  • For Basil Mayonnaise:
  • ΒΌ C. olive oil mayo
  • 2 T. fresh basil, finely chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • salt
  • white pepper
  • cayenne pepper
  • For Sandwich:
  • 4 slices of French bread
  • extra sharp white cheddar, sliced
  • turkey, sliced
  • tomato, sliced
  • fresh basil leaves

In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, basil, minced garlic, salt, white pepper, and cayenne pepper together.
Mix until combined. Set aside.
Spread some basil mayonnaise on both slices of bread then layer it with a little cheese, turkey, tomato, and fresh basil leaves.
Place the other slice of bread on top.
Place into your Panini pan or grill pan.
Cook for 5 minutes or until crispy and golden brown.
Serve immediately.
