Slice apples and add water, cinnamon and sugar to them in small saucepan. Cook until slightly tender and put aside. Butter cinnamon raisin bread and place fillings like this: slice of cheese, turkey, apple slice to cover turkey and another slice of cheese. Top off with another piece of bread and cook until cheese is melted on both sides.

  • Bnrudy, I would suggest using a pan over the stove, much like how you make a grilled cheese. Happy cooking!

  • Sound good! But how do you melt them? oven, boiler, grilled, toast them.

  • I don't think the sugar, water and cinammon mix were right. I tried this recipe as it is listed and the apple mixture did not taste good at all....4 TABLESPOONS of cinammon. I should have realized they probably meant 4 tsp

  • Why doesn't this recipe list how many apples?
